M 101 aka NGC 5457 aka Pinwheel Galaxy aka Feuerrad Galaxie liegt in Ursa Major und hat einen Durchmesser von 29 x 27 arcmin.
Sie ist ein helles Objekt für kurze Sommernächte und ich hatte sie noch nicht mit Veloce und ASI 533 MM fotografiert. LRGB insgesamt 65 x 120 sec. Halpha 15 x 300 sec.
